FULL TIME PEDIATRIC OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST NEEDED

Job Duties:

• Development, implementation and coordination of the occupational therapy program.

• Evaluates client's ability occupational profile through a variety of functional, behavioral and standardized assessments, skill observations, checklists, histories and interviews.

• Create comprehensive written reports

• Directs program development and guides evidence-based intervention.

• Interacts with physicians, parents and staff to support integration of intervention techniques into child’s daily routine.

• Works well with children with Autism ages 2-18 (will train in ABA).

Requirements:

• Successful completion/ graduation from an accredited occupational therapy professional program recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, including completion of all fieldwork requirements.

• Initial certification by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy

• Current license by the Ohio Board of Occupational Therapy

• Pediatric experience, especially work with children with Autism preferred

• New grads welcome mentoring available, Pediatric coursework and/or fieldwork preferred
